Privacy and cookies
This page says what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and how you can have it deleted. It is written to be read: if anything is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.

1. Who handles your data
The data controller is MASSA S.r.l., Via degli Aranci 160, 80067 Sorrento (NA), Italy — VAT 01492201213.
For anything concerning your data, deletion included, write to info@sorrentoseadream.com. You get us, not an office.
2. What we collect, and why
Only what is needed to take you out on the boat. No profiling, no selling to third parties: it is not our trade.
- When you book
- Name, email, phone, the day and trip you chose, number of guests and any notes. We need them to hold your place, send your confirmation and call you if the sea changes its mind on the morning. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- When you write to us
- Name, email, phone and your message, so we can reply. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.
- When you pay the deposit
- Card details never pass through us and we never see them: Stripe handles them on its own pages. All we get back is whether the payment succeeded and a code to find it again.
- If you arrive from an advert
- The code Google attaches to the link (the “gclid”) and the campaign it came from, so we know which advert produced which booking. Only if you consent on the banner: if you decline, nothing is stored.
3. Who else sees it
Nobody, except those we need to let you browse and book. We do not sell or pass on data to anyone.
- Stripe Payments Europe
- Takes the deposit. Sees the card details, which we do not.
- Aruba S.p.A.
- Hosts the mailbox the confirmations come from.
- Hostinger
- Hosts the server this site runs on, inside the European Union.
- Google Ireland
- Measures the adverts, and only if you consented. Without consent it receives nothing from these pages.
4. How long we keep it
- Bookings with an invoice
- 10 years — a tax obligation, not our choice.
- Enquiries that do not become bookings
- 24 months, then deleted.
- Cookie consent
- 6 months, then the banner asks again.
- Advert code
- 90 days.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a tiny file the site leaves in your browser. There are only two kinds here.
Technical. They make the site work: they remember your choice on the banner and hold your booking together while you fill it in. They need no consent because without them the site does not work, and they tell nobody anything about you.
Measurement. Just one: it keeps for 90 days the code of the advert you came from, so we know whether the advertising works. It only starts if you press “Accept”. If you decline, it is not written — and you can change your mind at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page.
We use no social network cookies and no third-party advertising profiling. The site’s typefaces are hosted on our own servers: opening this page you do not contact Google.
6. Your rights
At any time you may ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use or to take it away in a readable file. You may also object to a processing or withdraw a consent already given, and withdrawing does not make unlawful what was done before.
Write to info@sorrentoseadream.com. We reply within a month; if we need longer we tell you first.
If you believe we are getting it wrong, you may contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
