Booking conditions

These are the rules we sell a day at sea by. There are few of them and they are all here: what you pay and when, what happens if you change your mind, and what happens when the sea decides.

These are the rules we sell a day at sea by. There are few of them and they are all here: what you pay and when, what happens if you change your mind, and what happens when the sea decides.

What you are booking

  • You book the whole boat, with the skipper, not a seat on board: we do not put you together with other people.
  • The price is per boat and does not change with the number of people, from 1 to 8. VAT included.
  • A full day lasts 8 hours, short runs and the sunset trip 3 hours.
  • You leave from Marina Piccola, Sorrento. You pick the time from the ones offered; for the sunset trip we work it out from that day’s real sunset, because between April and October it moves by more than two hours.

What you pay, and when

  • You pay 30% of the total when you book. The rest, 70%, is paid on board on the day, by card or in cash.
  • The date is yours straight away: as soon as the booking is confirmed that day disappears from the calendar and nobody else can take it.
  • There are no service fees, commissions or hidden supplements added later.

If you change your mind

  • More than 14 days before: cancel with no penalty, the deposit is refunded in full.
  • From thirteen days onwards: we keep the deposit, that is 30%. Nothing more.
  • If the sea does not allow it, we move the date or refund in full.

What is not included

  • Transfer to and from the harbour is not included: it is a separate service, and we can arrange it for you on request.
  • Lunch, entrance fees (the Blue Grotto, for instance) and any stops ashore are not included, except where the tour page says otherwise.
  • Fuel is always included.

When you can book

  • The season runs from April to October. Outside those months the calendar is closed.
  • You can book up to the day before. For the same day, write or call us: if the boat is free, we go.
  • From 1 to 8 people come aboard: that is the boat’s capacity, not a price bracket. If there are more of you, write to us before booking.

On board

  • The skipper is in charge: if for safety they decide to change course or head back, that decision is not up for discussion and gives no right to a refund beyond what is written above.
  • Children are welcome; tell us when you book, so we bring life jackets in the right size.
  • The itinerary on the tour pages is what we usually do: sea and wind can change it, and if they do we offer the best alternative of the day.

If anything above is unclear, write to us before booking. Answering a question costs less than fixing a misunderstanding.
